Since 1978 Slater Gartrell Sports has been supplying sports equipment to schools, clubs, government departments and families who love sport. Kevin Gartrell and Keith Slater formed the company from their love of Cricket, AFL Football and Baseball representing WA and Keith also Australia.
Kevin continues to work full time at Slater Gartrell calling on schools and clubs from all parts of WA. Our passion is supplying equipment for both young and old, to live healthy and active lives. No better way to feel good than playing the game.
At Slater Gartrell Sports (Intersport Slater Gartrell) we have built our reputation on customer service, quality and giving back to the community wherever possible.
Slater Gartrell Sports began with two mates and a shared love for the game. Co-founded in 1978 by WA sporting legend Keith Slater AM and Kevin Gartrell OAM, this proudly local brand was born from the field and built for the future.
Keith Slater’s legacy stretches far beyond the scoreboard, representing Australia in Test cricket and WA in AFL and Baseball, later becoming a cherished commentator and community figure. Kevin Gartrell, a respected cricketer who played for Western Australia in the early 60s, shared Keith’s passion for sport and service. His commitment still drives the business today, calling on schools and clubs across WA with the same energy he brought to the pitch.
More than a brand, Slater Gartrell Sports is a story of sportsmanship, service and community, helping generations of schools and clubs gear up for greatness.
